The proposal extends the scale and volumetric language of the surrounding buildings, establishing the new building as a landmark at the northern entrance to the College Campus. From a distance, it appears as a simple, cohesive volume; at close range, it reveals a more delicate composition, defined by transparency and the diversity of its interior spaces.

A perforated metal brise-soleil wraps the façades, reducing solar exposure and giving the building a dual reading: abstract and territorial from a distance, open and communicative in its immediate surroundings. This solution reconciles the continuity of the complex with the requirements of a highly technical and specialised programme combining teaching, research and healthcare.

Organised according to a flexible shell-and-core system, the building separates public and service circulation while allowing its spaces to adapt to different uses over time.
