The project reinforces the historical character of the site through the recovery of its original spatial and landscape structure.
The proposal addresses an exceptional example of historical and artistic heritage, restoring the principles of centrality, representation and hierarchy that define the Baroque composition of the Palace and its gardens. It recovers the symmetrical and monumental grammar of the ensemble, bringing it closer to the intentions of the original, unfinished project.
The existing aqueduct system is restored, new green areas are introduced and vehicular access is reorganised, reinforcing the relationship between the Palace, its gardens and the surrounding territory.
