Objectos Cruzados
Pavilions for temporary exhibition, FIL, Lisbon
Objectos Cruzados is an installation conceived to bring together five works by five visual artists: Paulo Mendes, Leonor Antunes, João Pedro Vale, Cristina Mateus, and Miguel Rondon.
The installation occupies a volume measuring 41 × 12.50 × 6.60 m. Within it, the five works take the form of five distinct spaces, each with its own character and typology, developed in collaboration with one of the artists.
Rather than simply containing the works, the installation is generated by the intersection of these five spaces and the multiple paths that connect them. Architecture and art become inseparable, forming a single spatial structure through the interplay of different authorships, forms, and experiences.
