The building occupies a strategic position within the northern expansion of the university grounds, completing a void between the historic core and its new access. Rather than simply consolidating the existing fabric, the project redefines the threshold of the campus, reconnecting the university with the surrounding city and giving new continuity to its existing structure.

Conceived as an extension of the existing Faculty of Humanities, the building complements its academic programme through a clear and flexible spatial organisation while maintaining its own architectural identity.

The project is structured around a central courtyard, the heart of the building, which organises circulation, brings natural light into the interior and provides a shared space for gathering and informal encounters.
